Daniel T. O’Connor formed O’Connor Wealth Management in September, 2005. The company was founded on the philosophy of developing and maintaining long-term client relationships through trust and service.

In 1995, Daniel began his career in the financial services industry. After working at leading national and local retail investment firms, Daniel determined that he could best serve his clients by establishing his own firm. As an independent investment representative, Daniel concentrates his time and energies on understanding each client’s unique financial goals and providing customized financial services and advice. Clients receive the personalized service they have come to expect, along with more product choice and increased efficiency.

Over the span of his career in the financial services industry, Daniel has developed a diverse knowledge of the markets. He concentrates on individual equity and debt investments, the selection of professional money managers, and corporate retirement plans. He places great emphasis on developing a strategic asset allocation strategy leaning toward the pursuit of “value” in his selection of individual, high-quality stocks, bonds and money managers. Daniel is a strong believer in the investing philosophies of Warren Buffet and travels to Omaha each year to hear him speak.

Daniel earned his degree in finance from the University of North Texas. The son of a doctor and psychotherapist, he grew up in Mequon and now lives in Sheboygan County with his sons Flint and Quinn. Active in the community, Daniel was a founding board member and served two terms as President of the Habitat for Humanity Lakeside Ozaukee County Chapter. Prior to helping establish the Ozaukee Chapter, Daniel served on the Sheboygan County Habitat for Humanity board. Additionally, Daniel spent more than a decade as a Rotarian beginning his involvement with the Sheboygan Early Bird Rotary Club before transferring to the Mequon Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Club. A Past President, Daniel served the Rotary Club in numerous capacities during his tenure. Outside of work and volunteer activities, Daniel enjoys kayaking, playing basketball, public speaking, and stand-up comedy. He is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and participates in triathlons throughout the state.
